The Blind Side

The Blind Side Rated PG-13  Rated 10s
The only reason this got a PG-13 rating is because they say the "a"
word and there is some violence and a scene where some guys are drinking and have guns. But the story is true, and fantastic. My mom and I both cried a couple of times. It is the story of a white southern family that raises an African-American orphan and he becomes a pro football player. It's important for parents to explain to their kids that some of the people in this movie are stereotypical. Since it's a true story they get away with it, but my mom reminded us that there is a lot of racism and that makes it hard for minorities to get out of bad neighborhoods. She also reminded us that there are a lot of black successful people in the world, like our president. To See: That is the answer (great for the whole family)
