There wasn't one performance in this movie that was bad. Everyone was fantastic. I'm
surprised that this didn't get nominated for Best Foreign Film. This is one of the best movies of the year. It made me realize that other countries make much better movies than America. To See: That is the answer.

ReplyDeleteI loved this movie! I only saw it because I met with the company that produced it. They are making an American version and wanted to know if I had ideas! They gave me the dvd. I was blown away by it. Todd and I both. But I really didn't see how they could do an American version. It's so subtle and, well, French.
I look forward to talking about it with you over gefilte fish...
