Slapstick is the best type of humor in the whole world. What's Up, Doc? has just that, plus much more. What's Up, Doc? is a fantastic movie that succeeds in everything. The good part about What's Up, Doc? is that you think it's hilarious until the court scene comes up, then you think it's better than hilarious. There is almost nothing inappropriate about this movie, and every age will love it.
I'm so glad you like this movie, too, Theo. I think it's hilarious, and it seems to have been forgotten. Madeleine Kahn is great in her first role ever. And Austin Pendleton cracks me up (I love the party scene toward the end)! I've seen so many times now and it keeps getting funnier.
