Moonrise Kingdom

Moonrise Kingdom  Rated R
Moonrise Kingdom is a very bizarre film. It's the story of a girl named Suzy (Kara
Hayward). Suzy is very lonely, has no friends, and believes that her parents (Frances McDormand and Bill Murray) do not love her. She decides to run away with a boy she met while in a play that she truly fell in love with. The boy is an orphan named Sam (Jared Gilman) who is a "Khaki Scout" (which is a huge joke on Boy Scouts). He runs away from his Khaki Scout leader, Scout Master Ward (Edward Norton). Soon the whole town is trying to find these two, including a lonely cop (Bruce Willis), a strict Social Services woman (Tilda Swinton), and the entire troupe of Khaki Scouts (many, many people).
Moonrise Kingdom is funny, quirky, and absolutely bizarre. You enjoy watching Edward Norton wearing badges, you laugh at a shirtless Bill Murray stating to his kids that he's "going to find a tree to chop down",  and feel sorry for the unloved Bruce Willis. It's fun, it's sad, and it's absolutely hilarious. Moonrise Kingdom is a film that you can't miss. To see: that is the answer.
